A. The lubrication unit provides oil under the necessary pressure for lubrication of the engine components.
B. The unit scavenges the oil after lubrication and circulation and directs it to the oil/fuel heat exchanger and the oil tank.
C. The unit has four positive-displacement gear pumps (one supply pump and three scavenge pumps) driven by a single shaft.
D. The relief valve, the filters and the magnetic chip detectors permit the safe operation of the unit and decontamination of the oil
